Rotary Spray Unit Thierica Equipment Co. Grand Rapids, Mich. Thierica Equipment Co. now offers a rotary spray unit designed to improve paint finish quality while allowing greater flexibility in spray gun changeover. Typically used for spray painting parts on an automated chain-onedge system the rotary spray unit spins the spray gun around the part, allowing a lighter paint application for each revolution. This results in a more uniform finish and is ideal for multiple parts with contoured or recessed surfaces. The 4-pass design accommodates any one of three different types of guns: standard, HVLP, and turbine. The guns can be changed quickly and easily without the need for additional hardware or pressure line. Additional features include oversized bearings for longer life and stainless steel design throughout the Uuid passage to eliminate corrosion with water-based paints. The unit is available with pneumatic or electric motor drive. Circle
