Correction to: Kidney International (2015) 87, 499–501; doi:10.1038/ki.2014.360 In the third column of page 500, there is an error in the sentence beginning ‘The FGF23 secreted by the osteocytes will participate in several negative-feedback loops: it inhibits phosphate excretion in the proximal tubule...’ Instead, the sentence should say that FGF23 increases phosphate excretion.
