Reviewer I: This book is a practical, informative and useful reference text with all the power and weakness of a multiauthor book. It contains review articles which give an overview of current research in hepatology in Italy. Reviewer 2: The selected reviews in this book include not only experimental and pathophysiological aspects of liver diseases but also diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for patients with cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma.
