Announcement Third International Symposium on Strategies in Psychopharmacology
Serotonin: Animal Models and Clinical Targets Paris (France), February 26-28, 1992 The 3rd International I.T.E.M.-Labo Symposium on Strategies in Psychopharmacology, Serotonin: Animal Models and Clinical Targets will be held in Paris on February 26th to 28th, 1992. The aim of this Symposium is to examine the recent developments in the pharmacology of serotonin receptor subtypes, their indications in psychiatric disorders, and the development of novel animal models examining the role of serotonin in these disorders. The format of this two-day Symposium is designed to further the communication between preclinical and clinical investigators by combining a series of guest lectures which will set the themes followed by parallel workshops and poster sessions. The major areas covered will be: depression, anxiety, schizophrenia and aggressive/impulsive disorders. The main themes and the findings from the various workshops will form part of group reports which will be presented and discussed in a plenary session on the second day. Deadline for submission of abstracts is November, 1991.
